Dil-e-Muztar Drama Review - Hum TV (2013)

Dil-e-Muztar Drama Review - Pakistani Drama by Hum TV (2013)

Review for Hum TV Drama "Dil-e-Muztar" - 2013

Pakistani drama Dil-e-Muztar is Hum TV's exclusive drama aired in mid-2013. While I write this review, drama is still being aired and entering its final stages.

Dil-e-Muztar is a story of a couple that sees their relationship shattering as another woman enters the life of the husband. Original couple is played by Imran Abbas and Sanam Jung. This couple is intruded by Sarwat Gilani.

The drama has its ups and downs. At times this drama seems a good prime-time drama. At other times, it seems unrealistic and illogical. If you are watching this drama, I am sure you don't mind watching it and are probably enjoying it. But if you are planning to watch it, I wouldn't say much.

The story line for this drama is interesting to start off with, but then in the middle this drama drags on for too long. Imran Abbas and Sanam Jung's couple looks good in the drama, but the role that Sarwat Gilani plays is well delivered. After watching this drama, I must acknowledge that Sarwat Gilani does well  and her acting was the only thing that stood out for me.

I am personally not enjoying this drama so much - however, Sarwat Gilani's acting keeps me going. If you wish to watch this drama for her acting, I would recommend that you watch it.

I must add one more point here. I mentioned this drama is a drag meaning its very slow paced. This drag is usually only noticed when you follow the drama on weekly basis. If you are to watch this drama from internet, where you can watch all episodes back to back, this drag may not be noticeable. I am speaking from personal experience. Therefore, if you were planning to watch this drama, go ahead - you might enjoy it.

Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahin Drama Review - Hum TV (2013)

Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahin - Pakistani Drama - Hum TV (2013)

Drama Review "Ullu Baraye Farokh Nahi" (2013) - Hum TV Drama Serial

While I write this drama-review for Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi, it must be noted that this serial is still playing on Hum TV (as of July 2013).

This drama is quite a special drama and unique in many ways. As much as that has been aired until now, I must say I have really become fond of this drama. There are many reasons that I enjoyed this drama because of. It's not possible to go in details without giving spoilers in this review. Therefore, I will make this review brief and try to give my remarks on Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi by Hum TV.

Firstly, the name of this drama is unique. The name Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahin (The Owls are not for sale) is such that catches everyone's attention. This name was the reason that I became curious of this drama in the first place.

Secondly, the drama story-line is very interesting due to many twists it carries. The drama serial tries to portray the typical culture of many villages of Pakistan. It highlights the class differences, gender roles and greed of wealth that many men inherit. As for greed, Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi sheds light on those political moves and tactics that village chiefs deploy to consolidate their power.

Thirdly, the standard of acting is brilliant in this drama. Cast for Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi is massive and has many big names including Noman Ijaz, Noman Masood, Sohail Ahmed and Saba Qamar

I must also mention that even the way drama  is recorded, the angles that are used to capture the scenes are also quite nice.

All in all, the drama is a must watch. In my list of this dramas, Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahin would be in top dramas for 2013.

Rehaai Drama Review - Hum TV 2013

Rehai Drama Review - Hum TV (2013)

Pakistani Drama "Rehaai" by Hum TV - Serial Review

Drama Serial Rehai was aired on Hum TV in mid-2013. The story revolved around a man who lived with his mother and his two wives. Early part of the drama shows the troubles with the women face at home. The man is shown with inhumane characteristics; one who really didn't care about the family and lost his temper easily.

Problems and troubles the women face keep getting worse until story makes U-Turn. The fate of these women changes and they become self-sufficient after the man leaves them.

The drama Rehai is sponsored by a Pakistani social work team Kashf. Therefore, we find many advertisements of this association. However, there is nothing wrong with this form of advertisement. This firm is only trying to promote welfare of women in Pakistani society.

The drama teaches values and ways of survival in difficult situations of Pakistani neighborhood. The drama is a good example of how dramas should be: to the point, appealing, problem-solving and educating. Rehai does this job very well.

I enjoyed this drama a lot because it had some of the best actors of Pakistani TV industry including Noman Ijaz, Maria Wasti, Samina Pirzada and Munawwar Saeed. All actors including the ones not mentioned here performed really well in this drama. Noman Ijaz is my personal favorite - therefore, I liked this drama so much that I wanted to share my review with you.

I would recommend that if you haven't watched this drama, watch it!
